Mastitis Journey: Part One
I don’t really share about this one experience unless being asked. But, I do think of it, at least, as the most memorable experience that should always be acknowledged as a nursing mother, especially. Mastitis, for those who unfamiliar with the term, is an inflammation of breast tissue that may result in breast pain, swelling, redness and warmth. It is caused by blocked milk duct, where breast milk that maybe doesn’t completely emptied at feedings, or longer time distance between feedings and causing milk trapped in the breast. And that is what actually happened to me. Let’s get this story back to the beginning.
